Las Vegas Real Estate Developer Stands Up For What They Believe In!

Reputable Las Vegas real estate builder, Rhodes Homes, not only has a knack for constructing amazing single-family residences, but they have a soft side as well. The developer has elected to step up to the plate and join forces with APPLE Partnership, a local literacy program that helps in assuring that youngsters are able to read adequately by the third grade.

Henderson's Mayor, Jim Gibson, was responsible for linking the two partners together. He recently stated that, "Because of their financial support and commitment, Rhodes Homes is generating excitement about reading among the children in our community!" He also felt that, "This is a fine example of how a company can truly give back to its community and have an impact."

Glynda Rhodes, Vice President of interior and architectural design for Rhodes Homes, spoke on behalf of the company stating that, "We believe strongly in the mission of the APPLE Partnership and are committed to helping the program grow in the community. Reading is a fundamental skill that children must learn, in order to move forward with a positive educational experience. This type of event celebrates reading for children and, ultimately, encourages them to read and write more."
