The Las Vegas real estate market's Association of Realtors has no problem getting involved in helping out a good cause. The organization, who boasts more than 14,000 Realtors right here in the Valley, recently decided to support the Ronald McDonald House of Charities of Greater Las Vegas by participating as a sponsor in the Las Vegas Century Ride. The benefit marked its fourth year and took place on October 15th. The event, which allows contributors to bicycle for a great cause, managed to draw almost 1,000 people from around the globe.
Myrna Kingman, President of the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors, excitedly quoted, "(We) donated $1,500 to become a silver sponsor of the event." She clarified that, "Ronald McDonald House Charities provides such a valuable service, not just for our community, but for those who come to Las Vegas in need of support with their children seeking medical treatment. We are happy to support such a great cause."
The fundraiser is one of the most notable cycling events that occurs annually in the Las Vegas Valley.
The Ronald McDonald organization contributes a great deal by helping Las Vegas families receive medical attention for their little ones and to find shelter short-term. The company also supports other charities and causes that have a direct relationship to helping out children who live in the greater Las Vegas area.
