The foundation has been poured and construction is beginning on “The Platinum”, a 16-story luxury hotel/condominium project at 211 East Flamingo Road, one block from the Bellagio and Caesar’s Palace. Developers are planning a very aggressive construction timeline with their scheduled completion of May 2006.

The hotel/condo concept will appeal to absentee owners and investors because they can elect to have their suites rented out by the night through the hotel’s marketing system. The Platinum will feature 255 units with a mix of one and two bedrooms, and prices will range from the $300’s up to $1 million. Luxurious appointments will be standard (including the 42″ wall-mounted plasma HDTV’s) and amenities will include a spa & treatment center, indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzis (along with a poolside bar and cafe), fitness center, business center with high-speed internet access, tropical landscaping, secure enclosed parking, and much more.
